Many children making the transition from primary to secondary school are likely to struggle with this big change to their learning environment.

Multi-day camps can be a very good tool at boosting confidence in young people so they feel they are able to meet new people and make friends quickly, as well as having positive experiences by taking more responsibility for themselves and trying new things.

Other young people who could get help from these sorts of camps are Looked After Children making the transition from being in a full time care setting and taking on the challenges of independent living at 16 years old.
